Caelan Wallace walked down the uncrowded and rainy streets of London and dreamed of how it would feel to be part of something great. Caelan was now the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Albus Dumbledore himself had offered her the job; he had said that no one had wanted the job since 5th year at the school. She had heard the stories of the teachers that had taught before her but it didn’t scare her. She knew that Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger were supposed to be the leading cause of the “ disappearance” of several of the teachers including Lockhart and Umbridge. She knew that she would be teaching aside an Oliver Wood, who taught a Qudditch class. She thought that was rubbish. No one was to teach Quidditch to students, but it was also not her call.
Leilani Wynne now headed to Diagon Alley for her school year supplies for her 7th and final year at Hogwarts. She was now heading into Flourish and Blotts when she spotted Harry Potter and Ginny Weasley shopping for their schoolbooks. Harry Potter had held her fancy for about 10 seconds. She had been new last year, a Ravenclaw but she held a fancy for a Slytherin. Draco Malfoy. Draco had been the first person to talk to her when she went to the famous D.A. meeting that Dumbledore had now reintroduced in to Hogwarts after the happenings in the 5th year. Draco had been her partner when no one else would. He also walked her to each of her classes her first day so she would know where they were. Yes, she loved Draco Malfoy.
Ginny Weasley with Harry Potter as they were shopping for his books for his 7th year and her 6th, he had asked for her to help him shop. It made her feel wonderful to be near Harry. He had been on her mind and heart ever since she had seen him that day in Platform 9& ¾. Harry had never known her feelings; she didn’t know how to tell him without getting all sweaty and talking in tongue. But she knew one day she would get the courage and she had promised herself it would before he walked out those Hogwarts doors the last day.
Hermione Granger now a 7th year and one of the best witches to ever grace Hogwarts walked with her best friend Ron Weasley as they shopped for school supplies. She had been very uncomfortable about shopping with Ron. ALONE. She didn’t know why either. She had been friends with him since she had been 11. But why now was she having feelings for him that she couldn’t control and didn’t want to in the least. But did he feel the same? The sweaty palms, the uneasy stomach, the EVERYTHING? She didn’t know what to do, but why did she want to all of a sudden. She wanted him to love—WAS IT LOVE? She was confused and she hated the feeling so very much. But she would find a way to fix how she felt. She needed to talk with Sirius and Lupin is what she needed. The only problem was that she was to stay with Ron and his family for the ENTIRE summer while her parents went to Paris. She was excited at first but the thought of staying with Ron for 3 MONTHS scared her witless.
Oliver Wood now taught Learning Quidditch at Hogwarts. He had been captain of the Gryffindor team since his 4th year. He loved being able to teach a face full of students including Harry Potter and Ron Weasley both wonderful Gryffindor Quidditch players. Hermione Granger who had tried out in 5th year for the Chaser position and had blown everyone else out of the water. Ron couldn’t touch her when she had the Quaffle. She had tried out with the best in the school and no one could get past her, Ron had tried to block the passes that she had thrown to him but he missed, but when Oliver went up to prove to Ron that he HAD to try to block her, he couldn’t block her, she was to quick. She was better than Angelina and Oliver didn’t know if that was possible. But right now the only thought on his mind was the new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher. Caelan Wallace was magnificent. She was not fearful of the job, as he had thought she would have been. But then again she was Irish and Oliver knew that they could take care of themselves. But how would she take care of HIM?
Draco Malfoy now held up in Flourish and Blotts behind Harry and Ginny talked with what he seemed was casual conversation but Harry kept laughing at him everytime he brought up the hideous line that they now stood in. He and Ron were to practice Quidditch in a HOUR! That was at least the wait here. Did everyone come so early to get supplies? Draco had to drop his bunking things off at the Weasleys if he was going to stay. This was IDEOTIC! What was with the d**n line!? Fred and George were to try their new joke stuff on him and he REALLY wanted to try them first before they went on the market. He was staying just above Ron and Hermione’s rooms in The Burrow. Harry was bunking with him. Oh what fun, he had heard the Potter liked to snore. But what had him up all night was Leilani Wynne, a Ravenclaw that he had been thinking about since they had left Hogwarts at the end of 6th year. She had come to Hogwarts when her parents became part of The Order of The Phoenix and The Ministry of Magic under Percy Weasley. She was beautiful, her long dark hair and her dark fairy like eyes and her voice, ah her voice was what had kept him up for hours at a time. She was something that he wanted to learn about and teach.
Harry Potter along with Ginny Weasley and Draco Malfoy finally got out of Flourish and Blotts to see Ron and Hermione sleeping out side on a bench waiting for the remaining three to the group. Hermione had laid her head on Ron’s chest and was breathing lightly. Harry could hear Draco snickering in the background. He and Ginny were murmuring about what was HAPPENING between his first friends. Well, he really, REALLY didn’t want to think about THAT, all he wanted to think about Ron’s sister, Ginny. She had been on his mind and heart ever since he had seen her that day in Platform 9& ¾. She had grown more beautiful. Her hair had grown to be a bush of curly flames that hung past her waist, Draco had always said you could get lost in it, her eyes held more secrets that he wanted to know and she had been more carefree with herself which Harry grew to love. But he knew one day he would get the courage and he had promised himself it would before he walked out those Hogwarts doors the last day.
Ron Weasley the youngest Weasley boy was famous for his chess game and for many things but one of them wasn’t how to woo a woman. No, not a chance. He couldn’t talk around the one that had held him captive since he had walked through the doors to Hogwarts that first time. Hermione Granger was the best witch that had come to Hogwarts and she was the only one the Ron had never been able to talk to about FEELINGS without getting flushed and talking on about something else. Harry called a nervous habit. Draco thought he was mad and needed help. Ron knew that Hermione would never fall for him but hey at least he could try.
